
Christina Millar – President
Christina Millar is a Program Manager in the C4ISR business area at BAE Systems where she works directly with the senior leadership team to coordinate and execute business area reviews, establish the business area schedule and priorities, as well as review current program data across the business area in order to identify performance trends. Prior to her current role, Christina has held a variety of engineering lead roles throughout the company, including System Integration Lab Lead, Systems Engineering Manager Deputy, Systems Engineering Integration and Test Lead, and IPT Lead. Outside of her engineering role, she is an active member of Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
Prior to coming to BAE Systems in January of 2019, Christina worked for Raytheon. Starting in 2013, she worked in the Electrical Design Directorate (EDD) as an intern and assumed a full-time role as a test engineer in 2015, focused on the design and test of microwave microelectronics. In 2017, she rotated into the Mechanical Engineering Directorate (MED), where she contributed to the design of a large-scale radar program. Her last rotation within Raytheon was in 2018, where was the Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) Lead on a modular sea-based radar program.
Christina received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and her MS in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and holds the President role for the Southern New Hampshire SWE section. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, scuba diving, and hiking with her husband, her daughter and their two dogs.

Carolyn Hajdusek – Vice President
Carolyn Hajdusek is a Maintenance Engineering Systems Lead and Section Leader in the Air Defense & C2 Systems Department at Raytheon Technologies. Her primary role responsibilities as the Maintenance Engineering lead involve providing leadership, technical, cost and schedule performance oversight for a small team. She manages and coordinates program technical updates, cost and schedule under the software integrated product team across multiple Patriot programs. As a section lead, Carolyn’s responsibilities include leading a diverse team of engineers through performance and career development in addition to supporting department initiatives, mentoring, program staffing and hiring activities. She started her career with Raytheon as an intern in 2013 and later accepted a full-time position in 2015 and has supported the SI&T directorate since. She stays active with mentoring efforts, SWE and employee resource groups.
Carolyn grew up in Northfield, NH and pursued her B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Western New England University. She later went on to complete her M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University.

Jeffrey Brody – Treasurer
Jeff Brody is retired from IBM where he was Program Director for Faculty Awards for the IBM Global University Programs for IBM Corporation. He brings over 30 years of experience managing and preparing budgets.
A longtime member and supporter of SWE, Jeff served a three-year term as a Trustee for the Society of Women Engineers. The SWE Trustees manage all investments for the Society. He also served as chair of the audit committee for one year. Jeff is in the unique position of understanding SWE financial strategy, fiduciary responsibility and is passionate about supporting SWE-SNH. He is presently serving as SWE SNH’s Treasurer.

Vijaya Bashyam – Secretary
Vijaya Bashyam is a Senior Technical Staff Member in IBM Software developing critical retail applications for many customers worldwide. She is a recognized, often-sought leader, by customers and partners for guidance on key performance challenges to help customers expand to exponentially increasing commerce workloads. She is a member of IBM’s Academy of Technology and Academic Ambassador to University of Massachusetts. She believes in giving back to the community and is an active volunteer in STEM projects with schools and colleges worldwide. She also volunteers her time in community activities and an avid mentor in SWE, SWENext, Grace Hopper organizations for women and under-represented minorities.
